Our turnaround times are based on two factors: every Deep Time candle is mixed, poured, labeled, and packaged by hand in small batches, and soy candles need time to cure to create the richest scent throw.
We love to work with like-minded partners, especially museum and gallery gift shops, where our history- and science-informed candles are a natural fit. We offer three tiers:
• off the shelf
• customized labels that can be organically linked to permanent exhibitions (for brand-associated bestsellers) or temporary exhibitions (for purchase urgency and commemorative gift appeal)
• custom scents (see below)

Fulfillment time: 2–3 weeks for off the shelf; see below for custom timeframes.
CUSTOM LABELS
Deep Time candle labels are easily customizable. Just provide a location, date, and message, and we'll create a uniquely tailored label. They're excellent for:
• personal events such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, retirements, passings, and memorials
• corporate and institutional events such as company milestones, client anniversaries and successes, EOY gift giving, annual board meetings, industry conferences, and team retreats
• cultural events such as art and music festivals
• museum, institutional, and gallery gift shops (see above)
Fulfillment time: for orders under 10 candles, 5–7 business days; for over 10, 1–2 weeks. For larger orders, let's discuss your timeline.
CUSTOM SCENTS
Want to go a step further? Let's develop a signature scent together. For personal commemorations such as weddings and anniversaries, this might be inspired by the place and day you met or a memorable trip you took together. For exhibitions, this might be grounded in the historical or archaeological context for an item in your collection that will feature prominently in an upcoming exhibit. Through ongoing conversations and sample testing, we'll find the ideal—and exclusive—scent for the meaningful and authentic story you want to tell.

COLLABORATIONS
As a scicomm expert who has interviewed hundreds of researchers in a wide variety of fields, I am especially interested in collaborating with scientists, curators, and creatives to develop exciting ways to integrate scent and light into science, history, and art communication.
Deep Time also works with event planners and interior designers to infuse scent design into their client offerings, whether that's off-the-shelf candles, custom labels, or custom scents.
