Just like us, candles evolve throughout their lives and have qualities that only reveal themselves after you get to know them, which is especially true for complex fragrance blends such as those found in Deep Time candles. That means some scent notes greet you right away while others take more time to emerge. The unveiling of their true nature is a process—and it keeps things interesting.
Candles are also like fiery little pets. They need monitoring, tending, and care to thrive.
Before you light the candle for the first time, note the wick size—it will be about ¼”. Trim it to this size before future burns.
The first time you light the candle, burn it long enough to melt a clear pool of wax across the surface. This should take a couple of hours.
Every other time you light the candle, trim the wick using a wick trimmer, nail clipper, or tissue.
Don’t burn the candle for more than 3–4 hours to prolong its life and keep your space safe.
